Enivibes srl (comprising Eniverse at 76%, Aresys at 16%, and Solgeo at 8%) is a company of the Eni group and the developer of e-vpms, an innovative technology for pipeline leak detection and integrity monitoring.

e-vpms (Eni Vibroacoustic Pipeline Monitoring System)® has been widely tested in the field, monitoring thousands of pipeline kilometers worldwide. The technology has proven to radically reduce the number of Third-Party Interferences (TPIs) and their economic and reputational impacts. It accurately detects and localizes leaks and impacts occurring on the pipeline, with excellent reliability, precision, and response time. e-vpms was initially designed for leakage localization. Over the years, its capabilities have expanded to include detecting impacts, illegal tapping precursor events, and many other phenomena affecting pipeline assets, making it effective for both intervention and prevention purposes.

After installing a minimal set of non-invasive sensors on existing derivations, the technology monitors the vibroacoustic waves propagating within the pipeline in real-time. At full deployment, e-vpms provides an integrated platform capable of covering a wide spectrum of events related to illegal activities, including digging, illegal tapping, and leakage. They are capable of delivering e-vpms to more than 120 countries worldwide.
